Connexions West of England

Connexions provide support, guidance and advice to teenagers throughout England on the issues that they may face in their day to day lives.

Focus New Media have been working with Connexions West of England since 1999 on a number of 'online' and 'offline' projects, including:

the design of the main Connexions West of England web site. A series of original characters were created and illustrated, and proved so successful that the design went on to form the basis of the 'look and feel' of other promotional material, including leaflets, hand-outs and postcards.
a content management system allowing authorised staff at Connexions West of England to publish latest information throughout the web site.
Focus New Media developed the organisation's intranet, currently used by over three hundred staff at six locations across Bristol and North Somerset:
- includes a directory based, searchable file library allowing users access to information and important documents.
- a staff directory that provides a quick resource for finding personnel and contact information.
- an alert and message system means 'newsflashes' can be communicated to all users quickly and efficiently.
