banes logo BANES appoint Focus New Media to develop new web site

We're really pleased to have been chosen by Bath and North East Somerset Council to design and develop a new web site aimed at promoting positive activities for young people.

We've already started working closely with the project team, including young members of the community who are helping us to create the initial design and architecture of the new site and focus on what's important for the target audience. The site, designed to both promote activities and allow feedback on them to be collected, allows BANES to meet a Government issued directive that forms part of the 'Education and Inspections Act 2006'.

Lisa Lee, Account Manager at FNM adds:
"The internet represents a great medium for helping councils meet the objectives of the Act, it has become central to the lives of teenagers and integrates easily with other new technologies such as emails and SMS text messages."

The new web site is due for launch during the third quarter of 2007.
